Zoom Accessibility Statement
Accessibility Statement for zoomgolf.net
Zoom Golf Europe / Golf Tech Golfartikelvertriebs GmbH
Status: December 2025
Our Understanding of Accessibility
We want as many people as possible to use our website zoomgolf.net without restrictions — regardless of device, technology, or individual abilities.
As a brand for modern golf gloves, rangefinders, and accessories, it is important to us that not only our products but also our digital offerings are clear, accessible, and easy to use.
Our goal is to gradually align our website with the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as well as applicable legal regulations (e.g., European Accessibility Act).
Technical Foundations
Our website is based on the Shopify platform.
During design and further development, we pay attention to, among other things:
- a clear structure with meaningful headings, lists, and content sections
- intuitive buttons and links
- a correctly set language attribute (lang)
- Forms whose fields are linked with labels
- sufficiently large touch targets for mobile devices
- the ability to zoom and enlarge content
We use automated testing tools (e.g., Lighthouse) to identify technical barriers and supplement them with manual checks.
Areas Already Addressed
On the homepage and in central shop sections, the following measures have already been implemented:
- All key content includes a page title and clear headings.
- The language of the page is correctly defined.
- Form elements (e.g., contact/checkout fields) are linked with labels.
- Images include alt text so their content can be read by screen readers.
- Touch targets are sufficiently large and easy to reach.
- No outdated ARIA roles are used, and ARIA attributes are syntactically correct.
These measures help ensure that the site can be used effectively with a mouse, keyboard, and assistive technologies.
Current Improvement Measures
Despite the high technical quality already achieved, our website is not yet fully accessible in all areas. We are currently working on the following topics:
-
Color Contrast
In some designed sections and colored areas, the contrast between text and background is not yet optimal.
We are gradually revising our color schemes to improve readability and meet recommended WCAG minimum contrast ratios.
-
Consistent Link Labels
Some links that lead to different destinations (e.g., product page vs. collection page) are sometimes displayed with the same label.
We are adjusting these link texts to ensure the purpose of each link is clear — especially for users of screen readers.
-
Manual Testing with Keyboard and Screen Reader
In addition to automated checks, we are conducting manual tests using keyboard navigation and screen readers to evaluate the real user experience and identify further improvement potential.
Future Plans
We plan to implement the mentioned improvements gradually over the coming months, ensuring that new content is designed with accessibility in mind from the beginning.
New sections, campaign pages, and product pages will be aligned with WCAG criteria as much as possible to minimize later adjustments.
